Before you watch Redolessence review of Electimuss Astrum Nova, I asked LUZI Senior Perfumer David Chieze (he was co-perfumer for KAJAL Faris and the nose for M.Micallef Ô Féminin) about his creative process: “There is mango in the top note which is an accord. There are also citrus notes to give some freshness. Ambrette seed with its fruity, musky and freshness links oud and mango together. In the heart, osmanthus (fruity and animalic) links the oud and mango. The blackcurrant plays the same role. In the bottom note, Ambertonic (a musky woody spicy molecule) continues building the bridge between oud and mango. Orris, tonka and vanilla softens the animalic facets of oud which I didn’t want to express in this fragrance.” –Michelyn Camen, Editor in Chief
