 The endless winter is finally (almost) over and green shoots push through the earth. The days are longer and mornings sunnier. March 20^th 2025 is the Spring Equinox and the day is as long as the night. March 17^th is St. Patrick’s Day so it’s all about the wearing of the green. Green fragrances can be leafy, grassy scents that immediately bring to mind the beauty of nature reawakening, walks in the forest or through a garden. Green Fragrances can be herbal, floral, fresh, fruity, leafy, citrus and aromatic. Parfums de Marly Greenley lives up to its name… it is green, citrusy, fruity and fresh at the top, with a note Givaudan captive pomorose© which brings to mind a juicy and tart green apple. The drydown takes us from the orchard to a walk in the woods. Amberwood keeps the subtle sweetness alive in the base while cashmeran adds depth and woodiness Although marketed as a men’s fragrance, it’s totally unisex.
